How to solve Error Code 28

Fault code:

【28】Bus voltage low protection

Reason:

1. Abnormal voltage of battery pack

When the voltage of the battery pack is below the normal operating range, the inverter will trigger undervoltage protection. ‌

2. Inverter parameter setting error

3. Uneven load distribution or short circuit‌‌‌

Solution:

1. If the voltage drops due to excessive discharge, immediately disconnect the power supply and charge to restore it; If the voltage continues to be abnormal, the battery pack status needs to be checked.  ‌ ‌

2. It is necessary to check the undervoltage protection threshold setting of the inverter. If the parameter setting is inappropriate (such as too low), the manufacturer should be contacted to adjust it to a reasonable range.  ‌‌

3. Check if the system load is abnormal (such as excessive device startup current, short circuit in the circuit), and if necessary, redistribute the load or repair the circuit.  ‌

Emergency response steps

Disconnect the power supply of the inverter and use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the battery pack;

If the voltage is normal, check the protection parameter settings. If it is abnormal, restore charging;

Before restarting, confirm that all protection functions are functioning properly to avoid triggering the protection mechanism by mistake.
