Fault code:

【4】Battery undervoltage stop discharge alarm

Reason:

Battery aging: The battery has been used for a long time, and the internal chemical substances gradually dissipate, resulting in a decrease in the performance of electrode materials, which leads to a reduction in battery capacity and a decrease in the amount of electricity that can be stored, making it prone to undervoltage situations.

Battery self discharge: Even if the battery is not connected to a load, there will still be a certain degree of self discharge phenomenon. If the self discharge rate of the battery is too fast, it may be due to internal short circuits or high external environmental temperatures, resulting in a significant loss of battery power in a short period of time and triggering an undervoltage alarm.

Long term high load operation: The inverter is connected to a load with high power and operates for a long time, causing the battery to discharge too quickly, exceeding the charging speed of the battery, resulting in a continuous decrease in battery power and ultimately an undervoltage alarm.

Charging circuit failure: There is a problem with the charging circuit inside the inverter, such as damaged charging chips, open or short circuits in the charging circuit, which causes the battery to be unable to charge normally or the charging speed to be too slow, resulting in insufficient voltage alarm during the discharge process.

solution:

Battery aging: For aging batteries, their capacity and health condition can be tested through professional battery testing equipment. If the battery is severely aging, it is recommended to replace it with a new one.

Battery self discharge: Check the storage environment of the battery and avoid high temperature, humidity, and other environments. If abnormal self discharge of the battery is found, a comprehensive inspection of the battery is required to determine whether there are internal short circuits or other issues. If there are, the battery needs to be replaced.

Long term high load operation: Reasonably arrange the load usage time to avoid long-term high load operation. If the load power exceeds the capacity of the inverter and battery, it may be considered to reduce the number of loads or replace the inverter and battery pack with higher power.

Charging circuit failure: Professional personnel use specialized tools to inspect the charging circuit of the inverter, locate and replace damaged components, and repair broken or short circuited circuits.
