How to solve Error Code 13

Fault code:

【13】Bypass overload protection

Reason:

Load exceeds the rated capacity of the inverter: If the load power exceeds its design upper limit, it will cause a sudden increase in current and trigger overload protection.

Load or line failure: internal short circuit of the load (such as equipment component breakdown); The aging of the insulation of the circuit leads to phase to phase short circuit or grounding fault.

Improper setting of inverter bypass parameters: The overload protection threshold is set too low (such as setting 1.2 times the rated current as the protection trigger point, while the actual normal operating current is close to this value).

Poor heat dissipation or high ambient temperature: Inverter or bypass module cooling fan failure, blocked cooling holes, causing component temperature to rise, triggering overheating protection.

Solution:

Confirm the load power and adjust it: measure the total load power and compare it with the rated capacity of the inverter bypass. If the load exceeds the capacity, turn off non essential equipment or replace the inverter with a higher power.

Troubleshooting load and circuit faults: Disconnect the load and measure the insulation resistance of the circuit with a multimeter. If the resistance is too low, check for aging or grounding faults in the circuit; Connect the load one by one, observe whether the protection is triggered, and locate the faulty equipment.

Optimize inverter parameter settings: Enter the inverter control panel, view the overload protection threshold settings, and adjust according to the actual load characteristics; Extend the delay time of overload protection to avoid accidental triggering of surge current.

Resolve heat dissipation and environmental issues:

Clean the dust and debris from the inverter casing and fan to ensure smooth heat dissipation channels; Check if the cooling fan rotates normally. If there is a malfunction, replace the fan; If the ambient temperature is too high, install air conditioning or forced ventilation devices to control the temperature within the allowable range of the equipment.
