3. How Does Anti-Backflow Work in Practice?
Anti-backflow relies on a real-time, closed-loop control system:
  • Real-time Monitoring: Smart energy meters or CT (Current Transformer) sensors continuously track power direction and load levels at the grid connection point.
  • Instant Response: The moment the system detects that solar production is about to exceed local load and flow into the grid, it sends a control signal to the solar inverter(s).
