Fault code1~5: 1 "BAT-UNDERVOLTAGE" battery over discharge 2 "BAT-OVERVOLTAGE" battery overvoltage 3 "BAT-UDV-WARNING" battery undervoltage warning 4 "Load-SHORTCIRCUIT" load short circuit 5 "Load-OVERCURRENT" load overcurrent
Reason for malfunction: Hardware damage: Internal circuit damage or aging of components in the controller, such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, etc., affecting the normal output of voltage. Input voltage issue: The input voltage is unstable or exceeds the working range of the controller, which may be due to excessive fluctuations in the output voltage of the solar panel, or poor contact of the input circuit leading to a large voltage drop. Load problem: Overloading or short circuit can cause the controller protection mechanism to activate, cutting off the output voltage to prevent damage to the equipment. For example, the connected load power exceeds the rated output power of the controller.
Solution: Check input voltage: Use a voltmeter to measure the input voltage of the controller, ensuring it is stable and within the operating voltage range specified by the controller. If the input voltage is abnormal, it is necessary to check whether the output voltage of the solar panel is normal, and whether there are loose, poor contact or damaged connection lines. If so, corresponding repairs or replacements should be carried out. Check the load condition: Confirm if the load is too heavy or if there is a short circuit. Temporarily disconnect the load and check if the output of the controller has returned to normal. If normal operation is restored, it is necessary to adjust the load or replace the appropriate load equipment to ensure that it does not exceed the rated load capacity of the controller.
